THE DESERT TRAIL
When John Scott (John Wayne) is framed for murdering the rodeo paymaster (Henry Hall) in Rattlesnake Gulch, he and his pal Kansas Charlie (Eddy Chandler) set out for justice. On the trail of the real killer Pete (Al Ferguson) and his right hand man Jim (Paul Fix), Scott and Kansas are blamed for a stagecoach robbery--actually the work of their outlaw quarry. Feeling the pangs of good conscience, Jim springs the good guys from jail, only to be shot down in cold blood by his ex-partner. Now, as the fallen bad-guy-gone-good draws his final breaths, he must clear their names once and for all.

After foiling a stagecoach robbery, Tex Rand (Tex Ritter) and his sidekicks, Doc and Pee Wee, learn that the thieves are wanted outlaws. But before they can catch the gang, Rand's best buddies are framed for rustling and carted off to jail. To help them out of their predicament, Tex crosses the border and joins the gang--hoping to expose the outlaws and free his pals.
